Finally in Billings at 4.30 in the
afternoon here and it’s still Friday 20th June! We picked up our
great big, bright red Dodge 7-seater hire car (or at least we thought it was
big until we started seeing the monster pick-up trucks around!). We managed to
find our way through town and to our first USA accommodation – the Kelly
Inn. Damian took the kids out for dinner
as sadly once we’d landed, I thought I might have had some travel sickness –
but I’ve got one of the worst stomach bugs I’ve had in a long time – I’ll spare
you the details, but Finbarr had it last week and I was really hoping it hadn’t
spread. So the rest of the family went
for a monster feed at the Texas Grill and came home very happy.
